Eye Therapy and Hard Work Changed Weston’s Life

WestonOne day while I was in third grade, I was reading a book with my mom and my eyes kept skipping lines. I was having a really hard time reading and struggling in school. My mom took me to the eye doctor and we found out I had an eye tracking problem (this means I can see clearly but my eye makes small jumps down or up to different lines on a page.) So I had to do eye therapy. I went to the eye doctor’s twice a week. At first, I had to do  exercises that hurt my eyes. I cried when I had to do my homework and eye exercises at home because it was hard. I was mad at my mom sometimes when she had me do the work. Now I like books and school better. I’m happy I did it.
