Watching the Olympics ranks at the top favorite thing to watch for so many spectators. It’s inspiring to see such incredible athletes work so hard for years and sacrifice so much, and then it all comes down to just a few minutes. And then as a world, we get to look on at the minutes that they’ve dreamed of and worked for most of their life. It’s the best!
But what we don’t see is all the untold moments, stories, pressures, and emotions that these athletes experience. In this video, 2008 Olympian and gold medalist, Shawn Johnson, opens up and is very real about her untold story and experiences in Beijing and the years following. Notice what she says at the end.
