About Dan Stone
Dan has a way with words. And pictures, for that matter. He is an award-winning writer and photographer who works for an advertising agency in Boise, Idaho. He’s written for a variety of magazines, newspapers and websites — covering everything from the digestive patterns of sloths to the plight of refugees from Afghanistan. Dan has worked for ad agencies in Washington, DC and Virginia, and has a broad range of marketing and public relations experience for clients like the Smithsonian, Department of Defense, Amtrak and Comcast.
When he’s not writing or taking pictures, Dan likes to spend time with his wife and four kids. He can often be found building Lego towers with his sons, playing dress up with his daughter, or trying to rock his baby to sleep. Dan considers his family his greatest blessing and feels very lucky to have them in his life. He also enjoys running, golf, drawing, biking, reading and exploring Idaho’s beautiful backcountry. Dan’s photography website is www.danstonephotography.com.
