This week we are sharing a poem with you instead of a quote. It’s a poem that has caused many tears. My amazing sister wrote it so we could give it to those who are receiving our Angel Gowns. She said as she wrote it, tears just fell, and as I read it, tears just fell. Neither of us have lost a baby that we’ve had to bury, but our mommy hearts felt the pain for those who have had to endure just a heart wrenching loss.

Our Angel Gowns project has been incredible! Our angel gowns and wraps are made by our incredible volunteers, from beautiful donated wedding dresses. We give them to hospitals so that they are available to families who lose their sweet babies too soon. This allows the parents another opportunity to celebrate their baby, as well as grieve their loss properly.

Our POWER CHALLENGE this week is to reach out to someone you know who has lost a baby or child. The pain never goes away, people just learn to function with it. Send a text, email, or card their way. Or drop off a little treat with the “Imprinted in My Heart” poem. Let them know you are thinking about them. If you don’t specifically know anyone who has lost a child, say a specific prayer for those who have. The Lord will bless them and help lift their burdens.

Thanks Imprinters for helping us spread love and hope to those with broken hearts.

I am interested in sending my gown to you for this project. How do we go about it? What costs are involved? Can we choose the hospital to donate them to? I had a premie granddaughter in the NICU for a long time. I would like to give then there where they mean so much to us. We can never repay the love and service to them, but this eould do my heart good to present them there. Thank you – Tracy

I’m so sorry to hear, and especially that you had to deal with both losses at the same time. That had to be such a difficult time. We would love to have you donate your dress. What a great way to honor your angel. You can go to this link for all the details. https://realimprints.org/the-angel-gown-project/ Thanks Ragina!

Thanks Judy! I would feel out a form at this link https://realimprints.org/dress-donation-waiting-list and we will contact you when we are ready for your dress. We are actually working with someone to get some seamstresses right in that area so it may be local! May God’s blessings shower you for your generosity!

I have a wedding dress I would love to give to make gowns for angels, I am from North Carolina. Is there an organization in my area that makes these? If not how do I go about turning it over to someone who does? This is a very beautiful and amazing gift for families in such a tragic time to take some of the burden off of them to grieve and not worry about part of burial process. God bless you and others that do this!

I don’t know if there is an organization in NC. I would assume there is but I’m not personally aware of any. You can send your dress to us if you are ok shipping it. That’s how we get most of our dresses. We are also working with someone to see if we can get some seamstresses in Charlotte area but things are still in the works. Here is a link with more details if you have more questions. Thank you so much Ginger! https://realimprints.org/the-angel-gown-project/

I lost my baby girl when she was 17. She was killed by a drunk driver. I plan to donate my wedding dress in her memory. But not sure if they accept the color. It’s champagne color.

I have a wedding dress that I would be honored to donate. It was my father’s gift to me for my wedding and he recently, suddenly passed away. He would be proud that his gift could continued to bless others in their time of greatest loss and despair. See, my brother passed away at 23 from a terminal genetic disorder, but was diagnosed at the age of 8. It was a long fought battle. As a mother of 3, I couldn’t imagine losing a child! So, I will complete the waiting list form and when you’re ready for my dress I’ll ship it from Ohio. I believe that what you’re doing is such an amazingly powerful and inspirational act. Your project is a blessing to many!

Hello. This cause is so wonderful, and I applaud your organization for doing it. I have a gorgeous gown that I had stored for 21 years.

Please tell me how I get this gown to you. Do I get to see the dresses, after they are made? I’d love that.

Thank you! We have seen so many miracles with this project! God sure loves these little baby angels and families. Here is a link to get on the waiting list https://realimprints.org/dress-donation-waiting-list/. You can choose to have them sent back to you, or to have us donate them for you. If we keep them, we can take pictures so you can see the sweet gowns your dress made.
